The family support service is one of the Bahoza Center's section, that is dedicate support to the families in the center.The aim of this service is to provide support to families in the area of education regarding child awareness, supervision,and to offer assistance concerning issues related to raising children with special needs.
The services including:
1. Providing information about how to deal with children at home, school, outside based on family requests and the child's condition, the family counselor provides support and guidance for dealing with their child's difficulties.
2. Psychological counseling sessions for family members of children regarding any challenges that have a direct impact on the child. It evaluates families using standard international scales for assessing the psychological aspects of families, such as: Coping strategies General health Parental intelligence measures Family commands/rules Parental satisfaction with the child with special needs Child behavior problems Parental stress Measures to depression and anxiety
